The Nintendo 3DS, also shortened to N3DS or simply 3DS, is a dual-screen handheld video game console, developed and released by Nintendo. It was originally released in Japan on 26 February 2011, in Europe on 25 March the same year and in North America on 27 March that year. In Australasia, it was released on 31 March 2011.
An extra large version was released in the USA on 19 August 2012.
